On the basis of these three parts, i.e. the product, the CB test report and the CB certificate, the customer can obtain the national certification (safety mark) for his product in the desired countries for which it has been tested. Product approval in the CB Scheme

A customer (product manufacturer) commissions TÜV AUSTRIA as CBTL to test its product according to the CB Scheme for certain countries.

TÜV AUSTRIA tests it and prepares a CB test report, which is sent to the Austrian Association for Electrical Engineering (ÖVE). The latter then issues the CB certificate.
