TÜV AUSTRIA is a Foreign Certification Body (FCB) for INNOVATION, SCIENCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CANADA (formerly INDUSTRY CANADA).
In order to place radio equipment on the market in Canada, an approval procedure (IC Certification) must be completed. Within the framework of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) CA-EU, TÜV AUSTRIA is authorised as FCB (Foreign Certification Body) to grant approval of radio equipment for the Canadian market.
